In separate messages to Mr. Ziyad al-Nakhalah, Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, and Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance (HAMAS), Khamenei expressed his votes for success against the Israeli occupier.

‘You will be victorious and purify the holy land from the filth of the usurpers,’ said the text sent to Haniyeh.

Meanwhile, the letter sent to al-Nakhalah said: ‘Our hearts are with you in the battlefield, and we always pray for the continuation of your victories.’

These two Palestinian organizations faced air and ground bombardments by Zionists in the Gaza Strip for 11 days, in which 248 citizens, including 66 children and 39 women, were killed, and 1,910 others were wounded. On the Israeli side, 12 people have been killed.

Despite this unfavorable result, the Palestinian Resistance emerged as the winner in the conflict after the defense of the cause of that oppressed people was renewed throughout the world, while international public opinion described the Israeli actions as a massacre against civilians.
