According to a report on national television, Mr. Nasser Mohamed Ousbo welcomed the celebrations for Africa Day (May 25).
In addition, the ambassador ratified African nations´ stance against US blockade imposed on Cuba for over 60 years.
‘African nations´ support for Cuba is a tiny counterpart that Africans can give Cubans because Cuba shed its blood for Africa,’ Ousbo stated.
Plus, Ousbo thanked Cuban people that every year celebrates the Africa Day and reiterated that the Caribbean nation has long been a valuable factor for African nations´ development and progress.
Cuba has kept bilateral relations with Djibouti since 1998 and both nations have signed agreements in agriculture, health, sports and hydraulic sectors.
