The batch, the largest ever to arrive in the country, was received by President Sebastián Piñera, Health Minister Enrique Paris, Sciences Minister Andrés Couve and other health authorities.
The doses will allow Chile to continue rolling out its vaccination campaign, for which the country has already received, counting Sunday’s arrivals, just over 21,022,000 vaccine doses from different foreign labs, allowing 9.5 million people to receive first jab and 7.6 million completed both doses.
Another batch was received last Thursday, accounting for some 272,000 Pfizer doses and 331,000 Covax doses.
