Jordanian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Defaillah Fayez said that such actions undermine all international ceasefire efforts between the Palestinians and the occupying regime’s forces.
Fayez called on Israel to comply with its obligations, stop the attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque and worshipers, and respect the legal and historic status quo in the holy city of Jerusalem.
He also demanded the world community’s action to resume negotiations for a fair, permanent and complete solution with the establishment of two autonomous States under international principles and the Arab Peace Initiative.
The Kingdom of Jordan has maintained efforts since the escalation began, in order to stop Israel’s massacre of the civilian population in the Gaza Strip, and its violations in Jerusalem and the rest of the occupied Palestinian territories, Fayez said.
