The session was convened by Parliament president Guadalupe Llori, who suspended the meeting on Wednesday, for a second consecutive day, with a view to establishing the panels.

May 18 was the first time in which the process had to be deferred, due to disagreements between the different parties.

Only seven days have elapsed since the new legislature took office, on May 14.

Since then, the assembly members have lived long sessions, initially to elect the president and two vice-presidents, which took two days, and then 72 hours to set up the parliamentary groups, which will address essential issues.
