The exhibition, which will be available until June 18 on the Behart platform (the Collaborative Network of Visual Arts Online) and on the Museum’s webpage, proposes an approach to one of the instruments used by painters as a support of the work.
According to its Facebook profile, the proposal consists of a set of pieces that are not part of the permanent rooms and have an interesting history of the Spanish-American collection.
Jorge Fernandez, director of the Museum, highlighted the beneficial relationship with the International Council of Museums, so the celebration took as its main theme ‘The future of museums, recovering and imagining with the intention of promoting experimentation with new models of cultural consumption.’
During the festive day, established on May 18, 1977, several Cuban institutions such as the Simon Bolivar’s House-Museum, the Poetry House, the Pharmacy Habanera Museum and other museums associated with the Office of the Historian of Havana will develop virtual activities.
