Reports show that six shells were fired from southern Lebanese territory against Israeli-occupied areas and the latter responded with a barrage of 22 missiles.
A UNIFIL communique stated that on Monday, around 23:30 hours, local time, rockets were launched from Rashaya Al Foukhar, north of Kfar Choub in southern Lebanon.
Immediately Stefano Del Col, Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, contacted senior leaders of the Lebanese Armed Forces Command and the Israeli army, and urged moderation.
