As reported by INIDEC, clothing, transport and food sectors were hit the most due to steep prices in April.
INDEC said the divisions reporting highest increased inflation toll were article of clothing and footwear, registering 6%, followed by transport (5.7%).
Regarding transport sector, it was seen increased purchase of vehicles, fuel and cabs, which were partially offset by decreased air ticket prices and by the so-called Greater Buenos Aires that included a slight increased subway price.
On the other hand, food and non-alcoholic beverage sector was also impacted by increased prices of various products including milk, eggs, oil, coffee and bread, in addition to meats.
