This Wednesday is the deadline so that political parties can register their alliances at the Supreme Electoral Council (CSE, in Spanish language), according to the electoral calendar approved by that power of the State.
The Nicaragua Triunfa United Alliance is made up of nine parties, six political movements, four social movements and two prominent figures.
Along with the FSLN, the electoral pact is made up of the Liberal Nationalist Party, Christian Unity Movement, Alternative for Change Party, Nicaraguan Resistance Party, Nicaraguan Party of the Christian Path, Multiethnic Indigenous Party, Liberal Autonomous Party and Yapti Tasba Masraka Nanih Movement Party, among others.
Jaime Morales Carazo, vice president of the Republic (2007-2012), and Jose Antonio Alvarado, former minister and former president of the Central American Parliament, are the two prominent figures to these elections.
