The registration process will end on the 15th, and the applicants must be over 40 and under 75, have a university level, be an Iranian citizen, religious and have no criminal record, among other requirements.
These are the thirteenth presidential elections in the country after the triumph of the Islamic Revolution in 1979.
Registrations take place at the Electoral Office within the facilities of the Ministry of the Interior in the capital.
The applicants will subsequently go through a screening by the Guardian Council that will announce the approved ones at the end of this month.
