Highest unemployment rates were observed in Greece, with 15.8% through December 2020, followed by Spain (15.3%) and Turkey (12.2%).
The unemployment rate also fell in most outside Europe in March, dropping to 7.5% in Canada, 12.8% in Colombia, 2.6% in Japan, 5.6% in Australia and 6% in the US.
Overall, 42.65 million people remained unemployed in the OECD, which means an improved 1.1 million compared to the previous month.
