Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh demanded from the international community take measures to stop the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupiers.
‘The Islamic Republic of Iran repudiates the attack on the Al-Aqsa Mosque carried out by Israeli military forces who left several dead and wounded,’ he said.
According to Khatibzadeh, this is another war crime that shows the world the criminal nature of the Zionist regime and the need for an international action to stop violations of international humanitarian law, he added.
Iran called on the United Nations and other international agencies to fulfill their duty to deal with that massacre, he added.
The Islamic Republic supports the people of Palestine and appeals to the world, especially the Muslim community, to assume the historic duty and support that oppressed people who are fighting the Zionist aggressors, he said.
On Friday evening, according to reports, Zionist military forces massacred Palestinian worshipers at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, where 100 of them were injured.
