As announced by Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Haq, this online meeting will help reflect on present world affairs, with special emphasis on the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the opportunities and challenges the UN faces, focusing on fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as risks to human rights, biodiversity and climate change, the spokesperson said.

Global economic outlooks and inequalities will be other issues to be discussed in the gathering, Haq stated.
