The detainee – Major Llency Ramón Mercedes, DNCD member – has been tracked down for days by intelligence agencies due to illegal business he had previously rolled out in San Juan de la Maguana.

Local authorities found in his vehicle cocaine, a firearm, 5,640 pesos (about US$98), a cell phone, personal documents and other evidences.
