At a press briefing held at the National Palace, the coordinator of the Health Cabinet also informed that in order to motivate the citizens, health authorities will carry out a massive vaccination week starting next Monday, May 3 until May 10.

She also pointed out that simultaneously with this new phase of the Vaccination Plan, public transport workers, journalists, teachers and people with comorbidities or coexisting diseases in their bodies may continue to be immunized.

Peña advanced that ‘very soon’ more drugs will arrive, but she did not specify a date, ‘the Government continues managing the fulfillment of the contracts with the pharmaceutical companies which have not yet delivered the vaccines previously contracted.’
