PCTM is made up of specialized facilities with technological infrastructure and connectivity, and it currently promotes 19 initiatives, Diego Castilla, president of PCTM, stated.

Castilla told journalists that these PCTM-promoted projects are in keeping with the sustainable development goals, and with the computerization policy of Cuban society.

‘Varadero, digital city’, is one of the works in progress to transform this tourist resort into a digital scenario based on ICT, processing real-time date and increasing possibilities for e-commerce,’ Mailé Salgado, PCTM´s vice president, stated.
