According to the Cubaminrex website of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting was held in a cordial, frank and mutually respectful atmosphere.
The source said that the parties ratified the need to guarantee legal, orderly and safe migration between the two countries, as well as the joint fight against human trafficking and illegal migrant smuggling.
They also reaffirmed the will to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the area of migration.
The delegations at the meeting were headed by the general directors of Consular Affairs at the Foreign ministries of Cuba and Bolivia, Ernesto Soberon and Cecilia Erostegui, respectively.
