The signing of a comprehensive cooperation agreement between the two countries was essential to undertake organizational processes in the sector of culture to boost the communities’ artistic development, Deputy Culture Minister Karen Millan told reporters.
‘It has been an enriching process, not only when creating art but also when boosting the organization of society towards culture, for the social transformation of the South American nation,’ she noted.
The work of Cuban collaborators consists of supporting community leaders and popular artists in their work with the population, as well as advisory and teaching to make Venezuela’s cultural heritage visible, defend it and protect it, she underlined.
In that regard, she acknowledged the friendly work of Cuban professionals who propitiate human contact with the people, beyond technical and methodological aspects, she noted.
Created on April 26, 2008, the Corazon Adentro Cultural Mission maintains its objectives to guarantee mass access to culture and motivate people to participate in community programs and the creation of artistic expressions by the popular sectors.
