During a meeting on the end of the diplomat’s mission in Cuba, both sides expressed interest in boosting economic-commercial relations, the foreign minister tweeted.
Cuba and Bulgaria celebrated in 2020 six decades of diplomatic relations, established on October 14, 1960, on the inauguration of the photographic exhibition Asonancias Visuales, in the eastern province of Holguin.
At that time, the Bulgarian ambassador expressed the interest of Bulgarian entrepreneurs to maintain and establish trade links with Cuba, as well as to participate in the development of its food, agricultural, light, mechanical, mining and tourism industries.
Therefore, in December over a dozen Bulgarian companies participated in the Cuba 2020 Business Forum, held virtually on December 8 and 9, to exchange on Cuba’s exportable offer and investment opportunities.
From the beginning, the ties of friendship and collaboration between the governments and peoples of the two countries have been positive, and with the passage of time they are getting stronger, according to statements made by the foreign ministries of the two countries.
