According to what he expressed in a video sent to Prensa Latina, it is very necessary that people understand that the US economic, commercial and financial blockade can even cause death.

US President Joe Biden promised in his campaign that he would put an end to the measures established by Donald Trump against Cuba, and that cannot take any longer, Santana stressed.

Cuban Fidel Gomez also joined the caravan of cars and bicycles in New York and said he was a little disappointed by the policy pursued so far by Washington towards his country of origin.

In his opinion, it is time to change those positions and do more on the Cuba issue.

This is the second caravan in which Gomez participates because he considers that now is the time to pressure the Biden administration to put an end to ‘the laws that are causing a lot of damage and that are hitting the Cuban people,’ he assured in a video.

Soon, on June 23, at the UN they will again say no to the US blockade, he noted.
