Cuba solidarity groups carry out actions in Ukraine and Moldova (+ Photos)

Kiev, Apr 26 (Prensa Latina) Members of solidarity groups in Ukraine and Moldova, and Cuban residents in these countries joined the second world caravan against the United States economic, commercial and financial blockade against the Caribbean island, it was reported in Kiev on Monday.

Through photos and videos in emblematic places of Ukraine, and a combat song performed by a Moldovan choir in support of Cuba, activists from both countries condemned Washington’s hostile policy against Havana since 1962.

The blockade is the main obstacle to the development of the Cuban economy and its relations with third countries, due to its extraterritorial nature, they denounced on Sunday in Ukraine and Moldova.

During the Donald Trump Government, the White House implemented 240 measures against Cuba, which are still in force.

On June 23, Cuba will submit a draft resolution against the US blockade at the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

This second caravan in support of Cuba and against the US unilateral measures against the island nation had as a precedent the one held in March, when cities from more than 60 countries raised their voices to condemn Washington’s policy on Cuba.
