The party’s general secretary, Qais Khazali, stated that the US lack of seriousness is evident, so no negotiation is possible with them.
In order to expel them, it is necessary to do what the Afghans did, constant hostility, he added.
Khazali responded in those terms to a comment by the chief of the Central Command of the United States, Kenneth McKenzie, who confirmed that he did not see the end of the US troops’ mission in Iraq.
McKenzie said that a total withdrawal is not foreseen.
In that regard, Khazali noted that McKenzie’s comments are a clear indication that the US Government has not taken the withdrawal of its forces seriously.
