From Zambia, on behalf of former students in Cuba and friends, we join the Global Caravan against the Blockade, Francis Katembo Kabubi wrote in a message.
Kabubi noted that the US policy against Cuba has caused a lot of damage and suffering to the Cuban people.
At the same time, he cheered for what he considered the strong friendship between Africa and Cuba.
The Caravan, an initiative from Cuba solidarity organizations in several regions of the world, is part of the actions to demand that the White House put an end to this hostile policy.
On June 23, the United Nations General Assembly will vote on a resolution for the 28th consecutive year on the necessity to end the blockade against Cuba, which most countries of the world have condemned since 1992.
