The legendary Mexican revolutionary, who facilitated the Granma yacht, will be the first speaker at the first session’s ceremony of the meeting, which will extend until tomorrow with the participation of numerous representatives from Mexico City and federal states.
The meeting will coincide with the World Caravan of Solidarity with Cuba, which in the case of Mexico, will have as its main point Cancun, in the state of Guerrero, for which the Solidarity Movement will present a poster calling for participation and condemning the US economic blockade against the people of Cuba.
According to the program, the opening ceremony will also be addressed by ambassadors Francisco Arias, from Venezuela, Mojtar Leboih Emborit, from the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic, and Mohamed Sadat, from Palestine.
Afterwards, the ‘Raul es Raul’ (Raul Castro is Raul Castro) video will be screened, followed by words from Mexican Senator Gloria Sanchez and Israel Breton, both from the Solidarity Movement leadership, in the meantime, Tamara Barra will pay tribute to her coordinator Jesus Escamilla, who died from Covid-19 in 2020.
The Cuban Ambassador Pedro Nuñez Mosquera and a video by the first vice president of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples, Noemi Rabaza, will close the first session.
