Two brothers, aged 12 and 14, lost their lives, while another son of the same family, only five years old, was injured by shrapnel from a mine that exploded while they were playing in the village of Swesah, in the southwestern province of Quneitra, according to local medical authorities.
In another similar incident, a minor was wounded when a device planted by terrorists went off in the town of Um Sharshuh, located in the north of the central province of Homs.
The terrorists planted bombs and mines in the streets, houses and agricultural lands in an attempt to stop the advance of the Syrian Army, and the blast of those devices causes dozens of fatalities among displaced civilians returning to their homes.
The Syrian military, with the support of Russia and other friendly nations, is carrying out sweeping and demining work in the liberated areas in order to ensure a return to normality.
