Russia and Belarus strengthen technical and military cooperation

Moscow, Apr 23 (Prensa Latina) Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the strengthening of technical, military and security cooperation was discussed with his Belarusian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko, local media reported on Friday.

‘Our teams are working very efficiently. I am referring not only to the government, but also the administration teams and, as we see now, the intelligence services as well,’ Putin highlighted during his meeting with Lukashenko on Thursday.

The head of State assured that enough has been achieved in relations between Moscow and Minsk, but there are still issues that need to be debated, Sputnik news agency reported.

During the meeting at the Kremlin, Lukashenko warned that the aid in these spheres ‘will mark the guidelines that no one should cross,’ in reference to Putin’s recent words in his message to the Russian Parliament.

On Wednesday, the president said that Russia will not allow any State ‘to cross its red lines’, alluding the country’s national interests, as well as its relations with other nations and international organizations.

During the conversation, Putin told Lukashenko about his willingness to meet at any time in Moscow with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to analyze bilateral relations.
