The memorandum is aimed at continuing and developing relationships, promoting investment and strengthening ties among entrepreneurs, organizations and commercial companies.
Among its objectives, the memorandum seeks to expand commercial and industrial cooperation between Cuba and the United Arab Emirates.
Antonio Carricarte, president of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and Humaid Bel Salem, secretary general of the UAE Chambers signed the agreement in a virtual meeting.
Both parties highlighted the multiple possibilities in the field of biotechnology, considering Cuba’s achievements in this sector.
They also agreed to take advantage of UAE’s expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Technology and Creative Economy.
