The Russian Foreign Ministry informed that it will summon Czech Ambassador to Russia Vladimir Remek on Thursday, after Prague threatened Moscow with new diplomatic expulsions, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
Speaking to the press, Czech Foreign Minister Jakub Kulhanek pointed out that the country may expel some 60 employees from the Russian Embassy in Prague if Russia does not approve the return to Moscow of its diplomatic employees declared persona non grata before 13:00 hours, local time, on Thursday.
On Saturday, the Czech Government denounced the alleged involvement of Russian intelligence in the explosion of an ammunition depot in Vrbetice, in Zlin district, in 2014, when two people were killed.
