The forum was attended by president of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, Antonio Carricarte, and the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Slovakia, Peter Mihok.
It was also attended by president of that same Slovakian institution in the region of Bratislava, Igor Junas, and delegates from the Cuban embassy to that European country.
During the sessions of this event, attendees agreed to identify an effective and practical tool to develop strategic collaboration between the respective business communities.
This forum mainly aims at the agricultural industry, food industry, renewable energy and biotechnological products.
Carricarte spoke about the need to boost economic relations between the parties and highlighted priority sectors of common interest.
Meanwhile, Cuban Ambassador to Slovakia, Yamila Sonia Pita, noted that the forum is a relaunching of the traditional bilateral economic and commercial relations. She said that those ties must be further strengthened based on the identification of common objectives.
Slovakian Ambassador to Cuba, Roman Hošták, hailed this event and called to expand the exchange to other Slovakian regions to seek opportunities for both countries.
