With this new batch and since the beginning of the immunization campaign past December, Argentina has already received nearly 9 million doses of vaccines to fight Covid-19.
Argentine Health Minister Carla Vizzotti highlighted this new batch from Russia, pointing out that these doses will be distributed as soon as possible to speed up domestic vaccination campaign.
She also stressed that 70% of people over 70 years have already been vaccinated, and Argentina´s major goal is to reduce domestic Covid-19 mortality rate.
