Members of the Cuban Embassy and the president of the Hungarian Workers’ Party, Gyula Thurmer, participated in a ceremony at the headquarters of the organization in Budapest.

Expressing his solidarity with Cuba, Thurmer wished every success to the 8th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), which will close on Monday after four days of sessions.

‘The Communist Party of Cuba is the main guarantee that the Cuban people will defend Cuba’s independence and sovereignty and will advance along the path of socialism in the spirit of the 1959 Revolution,’ Thurmer stated.
