In a letter, that institution stated that 60 years after the proclamation of the socialist nature of the Cuban Revolution and the Bay of Pigs military victory, they support the Cuban people in the process of generational continuity.
Signed by president of the club, intellectual Stella Calloni; and its secretary, reporter Alberto Mas, the letter adds that the Revolution ‘dignifies our people’s fights against colonialism and imperialism, that, under the ideas of Fidel Castro, Che Guevara and many others, built the foundations of socialism.’
‘A Revolution determined to build a better world, which contributed to end Apartheid in Africa, which fought the Ebola epidemic, which put a university at the service of the most unprotected peoples, a medical brigade that is an example of world solidarity and, especially, a policy to boost people’s self-determination,’ it adds.
From this country, the club sent its support to the new generation that will continue the work of historic leaders.
There is no doubt; there is continuity in the Cuban Revolution, the text concludes.
