Damascus supports and shows its solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran over such cowardly and terrorist actions that seek to halt this nation’s scientific and technological advance, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry.

The statement claims that all evidence indicates that Israel is behind those despicable attacks that aim at confusing and hampering ongoing negotiations on the nuclear agenda.

This attack clearly shows the enemies’ failure to stop the development of Iran’s peaceful industries and scientific potentials, the text noted.

Tehran announced that one of its ships was attacked in the Red Sea on April 6, and the Atomic Energy Agency confirmed that the Natanz nuclear plant was sabotaged on Apr. 11.
