Two US transport helicopters escorted by an Apache attack helicopter carried at least 50 terrorists to the Al-Omar oil field controlled by the US military in the northeast of Deir Ezzor, Ikhbariya TV reported.
According to the media outlet, the radicals were taken from prisons controlled by the separatist militia, Syria Democratic Forces (SDF), sponsored by Washington, and then trained at the Shaddadi base south of Hasakeh.
The mission of these mercenaries is focused on destabilizing the areas controlled by the government by attacking outposts of the Syrian army and civilian communities, in addition to protecting the oil facilities occupied by US troops, the official SANA agency reported.
According to Damascus, Washington offers refuge and protection to terrorists at its bases where it trains and arms them to use them for its destabilizing plans.
