According to the US CNN television channel on its website, six people were notified with blood coots after 6.8 million doses of the drug were applied in the US.
The six cases are female, aged from 18 to 48, and the symptoms occurred between six and 13 days after their vaccination.
Health authorities said they are holding the process to further review and evaluate the facts.
They also indicated that of ‘people who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, those who experienced a severe headache, abdominal discomfort, leg discomfort, or difficulty breathing within three weeks after vaccination should contact their healthcare provider.’
Experts called the event rare and advanced that the blood clotting may be related to Johnson & Johnson’s drug being an adenovirus vector vaccine, the same type as AstraZeneca’s, suspended in several European countries for the same reason.
