Heading an Iranian mission in Vienna, Austria, Araghchi confirmed that step to the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi.
The diplomat is attending a round of negotiations with the 4+1 group (United Kingdom, France, Russia and China plus Germany), in an attempt to save the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or nuclear deal.
Araghchi also notified Grossi that another 1,000 centrifuges of the IR6 series will enter into operation at the plant that suffered sabotage on Sunday when the Israeli Mossad resorted to a cyber attack to decontrol the energy network of the facility.
Earlier, Iran’s representative to the IAEA, Kazem Gharibabadi, announced the installation of a modern generation of machines at Natanz of higher efficiency and quality.
Gharibabadi detailed that there will be other technical measures to improve the fission processes at the nuclear power plant, located 250 kilometers south of the capital.
