All documents were delivered throughout the country and abroad.
According to the information provided by the CNE, the work included distributing the election packages in all 223 voting stations in faraway areas in 77 parishes in nine regions (Carchi, El Oro, Esmeraldas, Manabí, Morona Santiago, Napo, Orellana, Pastaza and Sucumbíos).
The delivery was made by plane and boat, with support from the Armed Forces, and will guarantee the vote of 61,411 voters in those regions, the CNE pointed out.
According to estimates, 13,099,150 voters are called to participate in the elections on Sunday to elect the next president and vice president for the 2021-2025 period.
The running formulas are Andres Aruaz-Carlos Rabascall, from the Union por la Esperanza (UNES) progressive coalition, and Guillermo Lasso-Alfredo Borrero, from the CREO-Partido Social Cristiano (PSC) center-left alliance.
The two formulas won most votes in the first round of elections on February 7, when UNES got 32.72 percent of votes, and CREO-PSC won 19.74 percent.
