On Twitter, the minister pointed out that this bilateral agreement will be focused on consolidating high performance, the massiveness of activities, science and technology in that sphere, as well as the exchange of competitions.
According to Maldonado’s publication, the deal foresees the exchange of athletes and coaches in the training processes, the development of competitions and the study of disciplines of interest for Venezuela and China.
Venezuela and China will also work together in the training of their athletes according to the Olympic and Paralympic route, the minister tweeted.
Maldonado said that this signature represents one more victory for Venezuelan sports and extended his gratitude to China for its solidarity, especially in Covid-19 times.
