Local media reported that the approval of these businesses benefits sectors such as tourism, construction, mining and industry.
These achievements occur despite the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and pressure from the United States Government on the economy, finance and trade, the media added.
Last year, 186 projects were carried out through the Single Foreign Trade Window (Vuinex), while nearly 80 potential investors expressed their interest.
The subjects of these proposals covered the aforementioned sectors and transport, renewable energy, food production, professional services, health care and culture.
In order to expand the options to access the Cuban portfolio of opportunities, the Vuinex’s online procedures began this week in what can be called a trial period.
The Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, highlighted the importance of the Vuinex as a very useful instrument, in line with the Government’s efforts to improve its insertion into the international market.
