For the second time this week, Brazil reported over 4,000 coronavirus deaths in 24 hours.

The Ministry of Health also indicated that 86,652 cases were reported on Thursday, giving total to 13,279,857.

To date, Brazil´s coronavirus fatality rate is 2.6% and mortality rate is 164.2 per 100,000 inhabitants.

Faced with health crisis and alarming figures, the National Health Council (CNS) accused President Jair Bolsonaro of turning his back on Brazil and leaving compatriots to their fate in the face of the virus.
