Prices were favored by a new record for services in the United States in March. It is a sector in which China also gained momentum as it experienced its largest increased sales in just three months.

On London Stock Exchange, Brent crude from the North Sea, climbed 59 cents (1%) to settle oil barrel at US$62.74.

Meanwhile, on NY Stock Exchange, West Texas Intermediate gained 68 cents (1.2%) reaching up to US$59.33 a barrel.
