The Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arindam Bagchi said Lavrov’s visit will be a unique opportunity to discuss important aspects between the two nations, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Jaishankar and Lavrov will be focused on the implementation of the results of the Russian-Indian Summit held in September 2019, in Vladivostok. They will also exchange views on different issues of international and regional interest including interaction in the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS Group (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa).
