The Cuban ambassador in this capital mentioned this topic at an official meeting with L. Enkh Amgalan, Mongolian Minister of Education, and recalled that 150 students from this Asian country have studied in Cuba.
He also reiterated the possibility of granting scholarships in different specialties as needed, Montsame news agency reported.
During the meeting, Enkh-Amgalan invited a Cuban delegation to the high-level meeting of Ministers of Education slated for October, in Ulan Bator.
They also exchanged views on the expansion of the partnership in the scientific and innovation sectors, the exchange of biotechnological experiences and the future trade of products manufactured by emerging enterprises.
The Cuban ambassador also told his counterpart that one of the five Covid-19 vaccines that Cuba is developing is intended for children.
