Peña supervised the operation of several vaccination centers in this capital, where she said that there will be nothing to stop the National Plan Vacunate RD, aimed at giving back to Dominicans the peace generated by good health.
She also explained that the second dose of the plan is currently being carried out, ‘proof of the firm decision of the health authorities to give the Dominican population the opportunity to be immunized against the novel coronavirus.’
The vice president announced that up to date about one million vaccines have been administered in the country, of which about 150,000 correspond to second doses.
