During the 18th session of the Cuba-Russia Intergovernmental Commission, both parties agreed to sign a new work memorandum on the exchange of experiences, thus replacing the old agreement reached in 2000.

Havana and Moscow are willing to boost mutual knowledge about the implementation of protocols to fight Covid-19 and the performance of clinical trials for this and other diseases.

The meeting, which was held at La Pradera International Health Center, in this capital, was favorable for opening new collaboration opportunities between both ministries and enterprises related to biotechnology.

The source recalled that 13 bilateral meetings have been held so far, as well as workshops with enterprises, business forums, exhibitions and the signing of agreements with health experts from both countries and the biotechnological industry.
