From the Miraflores Palace, the Venezuelan president celebrated the agreements reached at the High-Level Intergovernmental Commission meeting held on Tuesday, attended by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Ivanovich Borisov.
Venezuela and Russia completed the signing of 12 legal instruments to strengthen the bilateral relations in financial, energy, military, health, and food sectors, among others. ‘We can consider our relation with Russia as a model, a strong relation between a world power Eurasian country and a small South American state that is a moral power,’ Maduro said.
Nicolás Maduro also highlighted both nations´ efforts from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries and associated states, OPEC Plus, in order to reach energy market and hydrocarbon prices stabilization.
