The lie, distortion, hypocrisy and resentment were reflected in their maximum expression in Blinken’s speech, delivered at a session of the UN Security Council, a note from the Foreign Ministry states.

The text refers to that such statements and levels do not concern a country that proclaims itself as a ‘superpower’ and is a permanent member of the Security Council.

The note described the speech by the United States and some western countries towards Syria as inhuman, destructive and pathetic.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that the United States violates with those actions the United Nations Charter by imposing unilateral coercive measures, politicizing humanitarian affairs, occupying foreign territories and plundering the natural resources of sovereign countries.
