The spokesman said that on Tuesday Putin will meet with Wang Yi, the head of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, in the halls of the Russian presidency.

Traditionally, the leaders of our two countries receive ministers when they exchange visits. President Putin continues this practice, the Kremlin spokesman said.

In addition, Peskov noted, the visitor met with his counterpart, Sergey Lavrov at the Foreign Ministry headquarters where they discussed issues of bilateral interest and the international situation, especially upon acute issues on the world scene such as the war in the Middle East and in Ukraine.
