Deputy Prime Minister Eduardo Martinez will lead the large Cuban delegation to the Raisina Dialogue (17-19 March), India’s premier conference on geopolitics and geo-economics, and the tenth edition of the India-Latin America Conclave 2025 (19-20 March).
The Caribbean nation will also be represented at the 25th edition of India Soft, a relationship management event in the information technology sector.
The Raisina Dialogue, which runs until 19 March in New Delhi, is an annual event that brings together world leaders, lawmakers, businessmen and leading intellectuals for important discussions on international issues and strategic cooperation.
Organised by the Observer Research Foundation in association with the Ministry of External Affairs, the conference will explore opportunities for cooperation on a wide range of issues.
In addition, this year’s India-Latin America Conclave will feature a special session on Cuba, which the organisers say is globally recognised for its leadership in biotechnology and healthcare, with pioneering achievements in the development of vaccines, biopharmaceuticals and medical research.
With Cuba joining the Brics Group as a partner nation, what new opportunities for economic cooperation are on the horizon? How can India and Cuba further strengthen their partnership in key sectors such as health, digital transformation, sustainable mobility and industrial innovation? These are questions that need to be addressed. Finally, at Indiasoft, representatives of Cuban companies will explore business opportunities at the aforementioned platform, which since 2001 has established itself as the premier global networking event in the region.
