In his Telegram account the high diplomat pointed out that the actions made clear “to what interests they respond”.

He stated that the responsibility for the inviolability of diplomatic headquarters lies with the host state and “we hope that the authorities will immediately find those responsible for these attacks”.

The country and the world realize who “these unhinged fascists are, capable of attacking the interests of the Venezuelan people”, he said.

Gil demanded on Monday that the authorities of several countries speed up the investigations on the attacks to Venezuelan consulates abroad.

He stated that it was “an action coordinated by the little commanders of the unhinged fascism”, who attacked several diplomatic facilities.

He insisted that the consulates were attacked by “extremists who do the same damage to our diplomatic offices that they want to do to our beloved Bolivarian homeland”.
